Adaptable and redeployable bridge systems for permanent or temporary applications
The Algonquin R800 is the only Canadian-made Modular Panel Bridge System
Algonquin R800 Modular Panel Bridge Systems are innovative and economical bridging solutions for a wide array of permanent or temporary applications.
Modern iterations of the classic “Bailey Bridge” design
Algonquin Modular Panel Bridge Systems are the latest evolution of the original “Bailey Bridge” system that played a key part in Second World War troop movements and reconstruction efforts.
These Canadian-made bridge systems are inventoried and ready to ship across Canada or internationally. They are easy to handle/assemble and are completely reusable.
Designs can be configured for a wide range of roadway widths up to three lanes. Driving surfaces can be steel deck panels with an epoxy aggregate anti-skid coating, asphalt-ready steel decking or timber.
Whatever your requirements, Algonquin R800 Bridges are resilient, sustainable and dependable bridging solutions.
Ready to ship for emergency or detour bridge requirements
Algonquin Bridge maintains an inventory of these popular systems ready to be shipped anywhere in Canada for permanent or temporary applications, like detour bridges or emergency bridge washout replacements. More about Emergency Bridges
These “Bailey Bridge” style systems are easy to assemble, install and re-use
All components are hot dip-galvanized for maximum durability. They are easy to assemble with local crews and are completely reusable. Assembled bridges can be cantilever launched from one side or they can be crane lifted into place.
