With a small alteration for their specific needs, our standard, in-stock Algonquin Modular Panel Bridge was delivered, assembled and placed in no time.

The customer had originally planned for a 2.1 m width bridge with steel decking. Our in-stock Algonquin rental units are 3.16 m wide and are configured for epoxy-aggregate coated steel deck panels. They were happy to have a slightly wider bridge as long as they had it quickly, so we made a slight alteration to our standard transoms to allow for steel deck fastening.

  • Fort McMurray golf course bridge replacement installed with an excavator and a tow truck

    In the spring of 2020, ice jams on the Athabasca and Clearwater rivers in Fort McMurray led to severe flooding and the complete closure of the City’s downtown core, causing over $522 million in insured damage to the wider area. This included the washout of two bridges at the Fort McMurray Golf Club. Algonquin Bridge was selected to design and supply a replacement for one of them.

    In conjunction with a longer-term project to rehabilitate Highway 401, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation is relocating the Leslie Street East southbound off-ramp. This required the relocation of the Oriole GO Station’s pedestrian crossing over the LRT rail line farther south.

  • Algonquin rental pedestrian bridge plays part in BC’s Saanich Interchange Project

    The Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada are investing $85 million in the development and construction of the McKenzie Interchange Project, a new partial cloverleaf on the Trans-Canada Highway at the Intersection with Admirals Road and McKenzie Avenue in Saanich. The existing signalled intersection is the worst traffic bottleneck on Vancouver Island.
